Howlers Comedy Club made its long awaited return in September 2021. Since we started Howlers in 2005 it has steadily built up an enviable reputation for spotting acts that will go on to bigger things with comedians such as Sarah Millican, Tom Allen, Jon Richardson, Romesh Ranganathan and many more all treading the boards at our club nights long before they became household names. Howlers has become a Cheltenham institution and we are super excited that the next stage in our history will be a monthly residency at the Cheltenham Playhouse Theatre. After all the frustrations that came with lockdown, we now have regular monthly shows in the best performance space Cheltenham has to offer for stand-up comedy.

Alongside our usual brand of club comedy, Howlers are also looking to include regular touring shows later in the year and a mini festival of Edinburgh Previews in June 2022.

Unlike previous Howlers shows, there will be allocated seating so it's now your choice if you want to avoid the front row. The Playhouse is also fully licensed and drinks can be taken to your seats. All you then have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy a fabulous night of stand-up comedy.
